Description
This piece was inspired by a poem my niece wrote called *JAMMIN’ On My Bass*... I imagine each of these men is in his own world... groovin' with power and passion...
*JAMMIN’ On My Bass*
When I’m jammin’ on my bass
I tend to escape, and go to a very special place
I feel the vibes and get away from it all
I have my own type of musical free fall
I close my eyes and I feel so free
The rhythm is unrestrained, freeing me to be me.
My fingers show love to each of the strings
Plucking on that spot to make them do their thing
The deep, low notes transport me way up high
Like a graceful bird with wings spread out to fly
The music is hot – yet oh so chill
At least that’s my perception – its how I feel.
When I’m jammin’ on my bass
I’m one with the music. I’m in my own space.
