This is a collage painting that started out as a warm-up piece... but morphed into a collage made from the original painting (done on watercolor paper), copies of the original (printed on silk), and drawings of the musician (from my sketch book). The painting was made using acrylic, pencil, watercolor, and ink on 300 lb watercolor paper; the drawings were done in pencil and ink on Gina K paper.
