Description
The inspiration for this piece is the very rare Rafflesia Arnoldii.
Rafflesia Arnoldii is a very unusual and exotic plant which nobody would prefer growing in a nearby landscape. This plant is known to grow the largest flower on this planet Earth! Though it is not thought to be a pretty-flower, it fascinates me. Don't be deceived by my digital enhancements, this flower weighs about 15-24 pounds and is about 3 feet across. Since this rare beauty has such a disgusting odor when it is in bloom, I am not likely to ever want to see one in person. Imagine the smell of rotting meat around you? Well, that is pretty much the same smell you would be getting if you have thing huge flower baby around in your yard.

Thanks Linda, my friend... this flower capture my full attention the moment I saw it. I have big ideas for how to use it in my work... really like this version myself... trying to think of a poem to make a card or bookmark out of it! :-)
