Description
This is an encaustic mixed media collage inspired by the "Survivor" poem and the memory of my late son: Joshua D. W. Broomfield. During grief therapy, they teach us to focus on the things that bring us "joy" when we remember our loved ones... ART is the thread that will bind me to my son forever.
All of the papers were handmade by the artist. The collage is built on painted birch wood panels and sealed with hot wax.
