I'm just in love
with purple and oranger...
This year,
I can't seem to get enough
of that combination.
Every time I start a new painting,
I have to force myself
not to pick up orange
or purple first...
Sometimes I just give in
and let my imagination
embrace those lovely colors;
enjoy their warmth,
joy,
jubilance...
for they create in me
an overall sense of well-being.
This is a heavily textured mixed media piece made from handpainted wood, acrylic, wax pastels, and ink on 260# heavyweight acrylic paper
