After March 4, 2009,
I was faced with
the most critical challenge
of my life thus far:
Do I give up and die
after losing my only child
in an unforeseen,
random act of violence
or do I let go of the pain
and let God cradle me
in HIS strength
so I can continue living the LIFE
HE purposed for me?
Rising to that challenge,
I chose the latter
and here I am today
living a lifelong dream
as a artist
honoring my son
and my faith in GOD.

This painting was made using acrylic, wax pastels, and ink on 300# Acrylic Linen Paper.
