I love the peaceful strength of the vases against the joyous chaos of the background. The complex movement of color placed behind the stillness of the blue, keeps it from being overwhelming. The vessels remind me of the body. The patchwork is reminiscent of the left brain and it's desire to find order, even from that which has no order. And the wild shapes (some bordered and some, "unrestrained," if you will), feel like the right brain's creative process as it progresses from a first thought, to a new idea, then on to that intoxicating feeling of limitless possibilities. If you can't tell, I really like this piece and could look at it for hours.
