Low self-esteem has caused many people to remain in positions that limit their ability to grow...
I had to learn the hard way
that "healthy self-assurance"
is not the same as conceit,
or self-aggrandizement.
Once I was able to
increase my self-confidence,
all sorts of doors began to unlock...
You know, on second thought,
maybe those doors
were never really locked...
maybe my being more self-assured
infused me with enough
courage
to push harder on closed doors
instead of shying away.
Whichever the case,
I'm grateful for the
growth
that allows me
to call myself
an ARTIST! :-)
This was done using hand painted paper, acrylic, watercolor, Gelatos, and ink on multi-media 98# paper.
