Description
Listen to the beat of The Drum...
This started out as a doodling and blocking activity in Starbucks... when I finished taking a waterbrush to the Intense pencils I used to create it, I saw this very ornate drum... maybe the fact that I was listening to jazz while I worked on it had something to do with the curves, lines, twists and curls. :)

This is sooo creative!
Angela L Walker replied:
Thanks much, Chris. There are several fellow artists who have written books on how to make the creative process easier to enjoy when on the go... this was a "blocking" technique that I started at a Starbucks and finished when I got back to my humble studio. So glad you like it! :-)

Thanks for the encouragement Carole and Linda... I was just toying with techniques and mediums to use with wax and voila (sp)! I had so much fun with this one...
