Thank you so very much, Ana! The only way I continue on is through faith and remembering how loving my son was. You're right, I feel him with me as I paint... and I do that nearly every day. Hugs! :)

Angela, I was drawn to your description of your son's passing. I, too, lost my son this past May, and know, as you do, that there is no pain like that of loosing a child. It is also through my art that I manage to keep going. Peace.

OMG!Angela, your son had the same birthday as me. My late brother also shared the same birthday, although we were four years apart. WOW!

Angela L Walker replied:

David... so sorry I couldn't respond when you first commented.. I just started crying and couldn't stop... much stronger today... it is amazing to learn that you, your brother, and Josh share the same birthday! When I look at your work... I envision Josh having grown into a fine artist like you... he would loved to have seen your work and even reached out to connect with you, I'm sure of it! Thanks for sharing this irony with me; I can now think of you on Dec 9 and reach out to extend you good wishes! :-)

My daughter and I were reading your biography and we glance through your images to see picture of your son. I feel for you, Angela. God bless you, my friend. God gives you courage. You are doing a great job with your art.

Angela L Walker replied:

Thanks Nicole... Josh's birthday is coming up on Dec 9... it's kinda rough right now. Trying to hang in there though...

A beautiful angel at your side! Hope you are well & just wanted to let you know... It's amazing to watch God work through you and your son to inspire and bring hope to others ( : Lost my brother to suicide & several other friends and family members to untimely deaths. Almost lost myself in the process and not sure I would have made it through without God placing a camera in my hands. You inspire me to keep going. God Bless! Jess

Angela L Walker replied:

You are so precious, Jess! I really appreciate your comments and I really needed to read them today! Please pray for my continued strength... I'm lifting you up in prayer as well!

Although I have no children of my own, I share your pain. I lost my mom 9 months ago, when she was only four months short of 100. Accept my sympathy for your loss. David.

Angela L Walker replied:

Thanks, David... losing someone we truly love is always difficult isn't it? Sometimes there are just no words to describe the pain... I accept your sympathy for my loss and extend mine to you!

Suzanne, thank you so much for letting me share him with you... I believe Josh is with me everyday in spirit... we paint together. That's why I create so much work... aside from my faith in God, ART sustains me! God bless you for reaching out and acknowledging us.

God bless you, Linda! Thank you for commenting on this picture... yes, I thank God everyday that our last words were so genuine and filled with LOVE! I said, "I love you, Son" He said, "I love you too mom... you're the best mom in the whole world!" And then my towering 6' young man leaned over to hug his mom and kiss me goodby - The next day he was gone! We never know the day or the hour so it is very important that we make every moment count! Again, thank you for letting me share him and his art with you and my new FAA family!
