Thank you, my new found friend! I love painting from a bottle and using my handwriting style to create art... it is so intensely therapeutic. You are on point with what I was trying to convey with the use of the brass ring (a modified piece from my jewelry stash). I do appreciate your comments... it feels good to know what other artists (especially the ones I admire as well) think when they see my work.

There is something very comforting about this piece. To me, it speaks "mother"...perhaps because the circle looks like a button and the lower middle appears to be fabric. I just love the textures and the black squiggley lines as well as the comforting and feminine colors. Another fave...
