As a woman thinketh in her heart... so is she.
This is a mixed media encaustic collage on painted birch wood panel. It's recipe for success is a combination of painted paper, acrylic paint, rubber stamps (for the words), acrylic textile paint, glitter, mica flakes & perfect pearls, various dyes and inks, metal scraps, dried leaves from my yard, and a strong sense of purpose: everything is then held together with a rich layer of beeswax.
"Thank you" Crystal Copperstone for inspiring me & teaching me how to do faux lace mica art... I've continued to grow using the techniques you taught me. :-)
