In October I lost a very dear friend, *Suzanne Pryor*, to breast cancer. It was a devastating loss which still stings to my core.
Suzanne and I met in Lamaze Class back in 1988... there was an instant bond between us which developed into a very close friendship. One of my fondest memories was the week before our children were born, we both slipped out to Toys R Us and the cashier made us get out of her lane because she said we both looked like we were about to go into labor... everyone in the store laughed. Then we met up again in the hospital later that week; both having had our babies on the same day, in the same hospital, by the same doctors!
*I miss Suzanne terribly*... :-(
This is a cropped scan of the original 20" x 20" canvas painting i did in her honor. It's a mixed media collage painting was made using acrylic ink, acrylic paint, metal, mica, and india ink on gallery wrapped canvas.
