The Flowers in My Son's Garden
Artist

Medium
Painting - Acrylic, Watercolor, & Ink On Watercolor Paper
Description
My late son, Joshua Douglas Walker Broomfield, drew these flowers one day when he was doodling and waiting for me to get off work... I just loved them. Of course, they mean even more to me now... we always shared dreams of creating art together as a team; he'd draw and I'd add the paint.
Even though he has to see this come to fruition in spirit, this is a mother-son collaboration: Josh's flowers, my painting.
This is a mixed media painting made from acrylic, watercolor, ink pencils and acrylic ink on heavyweight watercolor paper.

Thanks EVERYONE for your support and comments on this painting... I will admit, it was emotionally difficult to finish this piece because it means so very much to me... there is so much history behind it until I broke down after I uploaded it... And even though I'd love to thank each of you individually, I simply cannot linger here long without breaking into tears. I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR LOVE, SUPPORT, AND COMMENTS on this collaborative work. Hugs!

Angela,What a gift you were left with. You were blessed to have that special thing together, some kids hate there parents.Life gives so many different hands . Since my birthfather left mom and I at1 year,I have had 1 bad hand after another. God uses those things to help others. Someday you will be a real angel to someone. Hugs,Marsha v&f
